  • Regatta & Fourth of July Fireworks – Although this summer festival has already passed for 2015, you can begin to plan for next year’s event. Along with one of the most impressive fireworks displays ever seen, you will enjoy an array of extreme watersports, water ski shows, Jet-Ski racing, national act concerts, and a variety of fun children’s activities. Attracting over 400,000 people annually, this is an event not to miss.

  • Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix – Another exciting thing to do in the summer in Pittsburgh is visit the Vintage Grand Prix. Held in mid-July, the city streets are transformed into premier racing tracks for vintage cars. There are also a number of free concerts, car shows, and charity events that attract more than 250,000 people.

  • Greater Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival – Although Renaissance festivals are held throughout the country, there seems to be something extraordinary about the one in Pittsburgh. During August and September, you have the chance to travel back in time; purchase era jewelry, swords, and costumes.; and enjoy a real-life jousting match.
