The Ultimate Guide to Easter Activities in and Around Pittsburgh 2018

Besides egg hunting, however, there are plenty of other Easter related activities that people of all ages can choose to partake in. Easter Eggstravaganza

Head over to the Frick Pittsburgh on 31st March for the Easter Eggstravaganza from 10am to 12pm. The price per ticket is $10 for the first kid and $8 for every extra child. This is a family-friendly event, where families with kids of all ages will get to enjoy Easter egg hunts and egg rolling on the Frick grounds. There will also be a photo booth where you and the gang can solidify your memories of the day, face painting, snack bars, and lots of amazing prizes to be won the entire time you are there.

The National Aviary Eggstravaganza

This event has been scheduled for the 24th of March from 11am to 12am at the National Aviary on Arch Street. Here you will get to join an Easter parade with the Easter bunny. There will also be an outdoor bird-themed egg hunt with educational connotations. You will also get to experience story time as well as a live bird appearance. If you are a member of the National Aviary, however, you are invited to a special meeting with the Easter Bunny at 9am before the event is open to the public, so don’t be late.

Easter at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium

This year you have a chance to celebrate Easter at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium on the 24th, 25th, and the 31st of March, every day from 10am to 12am. You will get to enjoy a scrumptious breakfast or lunch buffet after which you will embark on an egg hunt and take photos with the Easter Bunny on the grounds. Participants are encouraged to bring their own collection baskets and kids will be able to trade in their collected eggs for goodie bags filled with treats.

Easter Bunny Lane at Kraynak's

This event has been scheduled for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of March at Kraynak’s Flower Boutique and Greenhouses. The Easter Bunny Lane is a 300-foot indoor space full of bright, beautiful artificial trees; it’s a classic Easter utopia located just one hour north of the city. Enjoy the onset of spring in a make-believe world of blooming trees, surrounded by a wide array of magical characters that are sure to impress people of all ages.
