At Pittsburgh International Airport, your Regency chauffeur will greet you in the baggage claim area at the bottom of the escalators, in front of the AVIS rental car desk with a name sign.
Your Regency chauffeur will check your flight arrival status prior to leaving for the airport, ensuring your pick-up will be made on-time. Regency’s flight tracking software allows our dispatch team to monitor your flight’s progress so we can easily adjust your pick-up time to accommodate both delays or early arrivals.
Our chauffeurs will stage near the AVIS counter in baggage claim prior to the flight arrival and will hold a sign with the passenger or group name. Your Regency chauffeur will, of course, assist you with your luggage and confirm your destination prior to leaving the airport.
If you are booking travel for someone else, please be sure to provide your traveler with the meeting location and Regency’s toll free number. We also require client’s cell phone number, just in case the chauffeur does not make contact at the designated time and place.
Chauffeurs will make every attempt to locate a passenger. They will have them paged on the airport PA system and check with airline, if possible, to confirm they were on the flight. Regency dispatch and/or chauffeur will also attempt to contact the passenger’s cell phone, home and/or office numbers.
In the event that passenger is unable to connect with their chauffeur, they should immediately call Regency’s office at 1-800-397-0071. The Regency dispatch department will radio the chauffeur, coordinate with the passenger and make the connection.
Hired vehicles are not permitted to wait on the curb outside baggage claim at Pittsburgh International Airport. Therefore, the driver will direct clients to the proper exit door where they will wait on the green curb. The driver will walk to the vehicle holding area and return to the green curb to pick up the client.
Leaving the airport and failing to call Regency can result in a no-show charge. The quoted price will be charged. It is essential that all passengers be provided with our toll free number prior to their trip.
